National Bonding & Insurance Corp., and National Bonding Corp. (hereinafter collectively called "NBIC") markets insurance, contract surety bonds and bail bonds to business entities and individuals. Because of this, the vast majority of information received by NBIC pertains to businesses or to individuals who obtain products or services from us. Although business information of this type is not generally regulated by consumer privacy laws, NBIC is committed to protecting non-public personal information about individuals as provided by law. NBIC does not sell such information to others and will provide you with the right to access and correct such information in our files which may be in error. This policy applies to all NBIC - owned companies.

Non-Public Information We May Collect

NBIC may receive and retain non-public personal information about individuals from the following sources: · Information you submit to us when applying for insurance or surety products, such as your name, address, social security number, and information about yourself, your property, and your businesses. · Business transactions with us, our affiliates or others, such as premium payments, claim activity, and changes in your policies. · Credit reporting agencies, such as personal and business credit reports. · State Departments of Motor Vehicles, such as driving records. · Insurance agents or brokers, such as any of the above types of information as well as information about other insurance or surety products you may have. · Firms that provide services for your NBIC account such as those providing loss control reports and premium audits.

Non-Disclosure Policy of non-public personal information about individuals

NBIC does not disclose nonpublic personal information about individuals that is governed by consumer privacy laws except as permitted by law. NBIC may share such information with NBIC's affiliated companies and independent insurance agents authorized to sell NBIC products. NBIC may also disclose such information to other service providers in order to service or process your transactions with us or to inform you of additional products or services we believe may be of interest to you. We may also disclose such information as permitted or required by law, for example, to protect against fraud, to protect the confidentiality or security of our business records, pursuant to the terms of contractual agreements you may have with us, or otherwise to comply with applicable legal requirements.
